Visibly Upset wife!

Was sitting in my office this aft when my wife announced she was going to wash her Z4. Our products for her car are all together - Earlier this week, I added Optimum Tire bond diluted in a Dawn bottle to her stuff. I meant to label it.

So after 20 min she comes back in the house pretty upset that her car had this film all over it after washing. I went out and it looked positively terrible. I saw she had thought the Optimum bottle was car wash and mixed 3 gallons worth and washed away....

I spent the next 30 min washing the car again with Dawn....LOL

Moral: LABEL YOUR PRODUCTS!...

That is absolutely hilarious to me. I actually LOL'd. I think I am more impressed that your wife actually washes her own car. My wife thinks its crazy if I wash hers once or every other week.

I never "do it right"....LOL....so she has detailed her car for as long as I can remember.......

Forum member blk45 was 'helping' me detail a Bugatti and misted and wiped Meguiar's M40 Vinyl and Rubber dressing all over it. He thought it was M34 Final Inspection.

It definitely looked 'slick'.

Ouch ! Maybe I'm not the only one that does dumb things now and then. LOL.

I actually laughed when I read this. I can see how it could happen. Several of my bottles aren't labeled and I only know what they are because of the color of the sprayer. If I hit my head and forget one day I could be in trouble.

My fiancee would have been upset just at the fact that she had to wash her own car. That one will come back to bite her when we have kids, though, since she works in childcare.:D

Rocket, I'm the same way. I identify many of my bottles by their size, shape, sprayer type and color, and when all else fails, by smell. Had a friend help me recently do a couple of SUVs to get them done in one day. I spent a lot of time walking over to grab the right bottles to hand to him because he couldn't understand my labeling system.;)

When your wife finds out you are going to PAY !!!

Cudo's to her for washing her own car but how long did it take you to get the Optimum Tire bond out of the wash media?

My God Glen, I'm trying not to laugh but I can just imagine how her pride and joy looked after washing it with Optimum's Opti-Bond tire product! :lmfao

unfortunately many times we all have learned the hard way but when we share it with others somehow it doesn't seem so bad....:bigups

You may end up with his and hers detailing supply cabinets in the garage. One may even have a lock on it.:D
Well my wife believes that detailing her car is sitting in the automatic touchless car wash. She once told me it was "her car", and from then on I told her to take care of everything on "her car"! I don't touch it.
