Vinyl Roof Detailing

I just picked up a 68 Firebird which has a black vinyl roof. Her roof is in good condition. Our weather is getting nicer here in IL, so I wanted to start getting whatever I needed for her day at the spa.

That being said, what do you use on Black Vinyl Roofs?

I have been considering ordering Meguiars #39 and #40. I'm just not sure if that's the right products or not. Currently when I rub my hand on the vinyl, it comes off a bit greasy. Is that normal or the desired effect?

I read other posts on the internet with concerns about rain and product running off onto the paint. While she will NEVER see rain she will certainly be washed so I am concerned that the wash will have the same affect.

Sorry for the rambling, any suggestions would be really appreciated!

I've used m40 before and liked it. Cleans pretty well and leaves a matte finish from my experiences. In terms of streaking, IMO, m40 is made to be used on outdoor surfaces, and should hold up better. In that regard, *I* never saw any streaking; mileage may vary, however. I'd also recommend 303 but I am not sure how it does in the streaking department either.

EDIT: gorgeous looking car btw!
