Viking QD towel to polish/remove wax

Just wondering if anyone uses a QD towel to remove wax? I have Meg's supreme shine and Viking's polishing cloth. Both seem to get clogged really fast. Also, while both feel really soft, I sometimes have to rub a little hard to remove a stubborn spot of sealant or wax.

I was thinking of using Viking's QD towel for my buffing. I have the yellow and blue drying towels and those are soooo soft. For about the same price as the Viking polishing cloth, I can get the QD towel.

Anybody currently doing this? If so, how's it working out for you. I'll probably pick up a few QD towels anyway but was just curious.

i use the viking quick detailing mf towel (green), the new gold mf drying towel (6sq. feet), and also the old 16x24 drying mf towel (blue), and they ALL work great and are just as nice as the boutique stuff out there. i use them on a regular basis with no problems what so ever... :2thumbs:

Wow that was a fast reply...

Just to confirm...you're using them remove wax/sealants?

I have the yellow and blue drying towels too and I agree they're great!!!

yes, both the quick detailing towel and old blue drying towel (should have never been labeled a drying towel and that's why they changed/improved it) work great for removing polishes, lsp's, qd's, etc...

Definitely gotta agree with imacarnut...the yellow cloths are great but get clogged fast, and the QD/drying towels are great for the more heavy-duty work.:bigups

I use the green Vikings for wax removal and they do get clogged after 1 car. But I wash them regularly and they are good as new. Plus, K-Mart of all places has them if you need to make a quick buy.

And that is exactly why I'm leaning towards the Vikings. They are so soft and so easily available. I really like the Meg's supreme shine towels too but hate having to deal constantly with mail order...especially if I just want to pick up 1 item here and there.

I have a couple of these and I use them regularly. I just used one on the fluffy side for final buffing after applying/removing JW Acrylic Jett.
