Video: Opti Coat vs Aquartz

Thats a neat video! I have Opti-Coat and am playing around with it more and more, but so far I have been really impressed. What is the price differance between Opti-Coat and Aquartz? I know Opti-coat is $100 for 3-4 applications.

Jon

Jon, I don't remember off the top of my head, but I do know the AQ costs less than the OC. I would have to look up my VISA statement.

Yes, although commenting on Aquartz is almost a waste of time since it's now obsolete. In fact, I tried the new Cquartz tonight. The OC was very easy to use and I found you did have to level it out like some people have observed. Interestingly enough, I found a few days later that I had not buffed off a spot well enough under the mirror. It was too late to buff off, but I just put some DG 501 on a mf and it removed the stain-type mark and yet it retained its OC properties. (Got lucky there). The Cquartz is as easy to use as has been reported. I don't want to piss off Jack so I am not going to go into a ton of detail about it here. (I got a warning email about the video and don't want to press my luck). I will be posting about it in detail at L2D however. I am going to shoot some pics tomorrow and share my thoughts.

Save your Aquartz for trim and order the new Cquartz. You will be very impressed by it. I know I was.
