as an add on, since it was -11 here in rochester yesterday morning, with a high of 7, and it is now 27 degrees out, i just qew'd my truck BRRR.....

I noticed that too!:D They've all got like a gazillion posts. :D
 
I'm going to wash my car in a little while. I'm in WI and it's about 25 degrees out. You can't let the soapy water sit on the car for long though. I wash one door or fender, then dry it right away with a terry cloth. It works just fine. The key is drying it before it has a chance to freeze. I've done this through the whole winter. Last time I washed my car it was less than 10 degrees out. Of course you have to use warm water as well.
