Veterans Day

Also think about getting your hands on some 303 for your vinyl.

Enjoy your RSX-S...i test drove one the other day and im still drooling over it!

im a big fan of the Griots Garage interior cleaner for all the surfaces, leather included, then using 303 to protect and preserve the leather.

The RSX-S is a blast. The car is just a hoot from 3500 to the redline. The first 500 miles are going to be real tough keeping my foot off of the accelerator. I'm excited because I pick up the car on Thursday. This just means that this will be the LONGEST WEEK OF MY LIFE :)

Anyway, picked up the eagle 1 leather conditioner, 3 foam applicators, a new wash mit, and some miracle towels from Pep Boys. They were having a sale on these towels like 5 bucks a piece. I'm going to give them a whirl and then if they don't do the job, I'll pick up some better quality ones.

What about a bug and tar remover? any ideas?

And while I'm at it, my wife's vents smell of something terrible. I think that a fungus is starting to grow in there. Any ideas on how to get the smell out?

Brad

The A/C vent maybe mold and mildew, do a search of this forum and you are bound to find a thread on removing this smell. Ozium is regarded as something that will remove this smell from the vents.

As for bug and tar remover, I have no experince with them because the typical paint cleanser removed the bugs and tar I deal with. I have heard good things about that Pinnacle tar and bug sponge and Porsche Tech Equipment bug and tar remover (but mostly for bugs.)

Okay I think I'm just about ready but of course the newbie can't stop asking questions,

Considering how this will be a new car do I need to worry about doing the clay bar right away? Will I notice a big difference?

I helped mine a <span style='font-size: 14px;'>lot ! It's easy for even a new car to get debris and contamination in the paint while waiting for delivery.

Just simply do a test on a horizontal surface. If you <strong class='bbc'>feel[/b] a difference then do the whole car. It can easily be done in less than an hour.

Angelo thank you for your service and the rest of the veterans that have served. I also want to thank the men and women that are currently serving. Reminds me of a qoute "If you love your freedom thank a Vet." Today would be the a prefect day to do that. Also dont forget about the parents that have a son or daughter that is serving. Thank you to all.

Thanks Angelo, and to all the others that responded, and served, and their families.
Glad to put in my time during the "Nam and Cold Wars, deeply understand what it means to serve your country, and would do it again if needed.

Thanks to all who post here, God Bless America !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you to all of you who have served. You have not forgotten that there are are still some principles worth fighting for and even dying for. You put it all on the line.

If we do not lay out ourselves in the service of mankind whom should we serve? - John Adams

Thank you to all our Veterans who have served this country. I have a deep admiration for anyone who was willing to sacrifice their life for the sake of the freedoms we hold dear.

Thank you to the people that serve or have served this Country in time of war or peace. Military personnel often do not receive the Honor and Respect they so richly deserve. As a community of crazy car people, many of you veterans yourself, I say thank you, let?s all take the time to thank a vet today and everyday forward show respect for there service.

Took my son out for lunch today for veterans day (he is in the Navy Reserves). He volunteered to go to Iraq for a year and leaves for training this weekend, so this veterans day was kind of a big deal for me. Myself being a fourth generation military veteran, I am so proud of him and all of the men and women who volunteer to serve.
