Very "Hairy" Detail (LOADS of PICS!!)

Pockets

@PoorboysWorld.com
Well a friend of mine, the manager of the party hall upstairs at my firehouse, wanted me to detail his sisters car while she was in the hospital (had a heart attack and is recovering :bigups). Well she has a dog and it sheds like heck so i said ok just wondering how it would go. Picked the car up around 10 - 10:30 this morning and finished around 6:30 (what a day :surrender). This car was absolutely covered in dog hair on the inside. It took me a while on the inside to get all the hair out. Well I do not want a dog anymore :surrender Hope you enjoy the pics and the end result .

Outside process

Wash - SS+S
Clay - S+W and PB Clay
Polish - PWS via rotary and polishing pad (wasent trying to get all the swirls out just give it a nice look and feel. Accomplished with the PWS)
Rims - S+R
Tires - APC and B-n-B
Trim - TR
Windows - APC diluted 100:1 then S+G

Inside

Floor mats - Scrubbed with APC then shop vac dry
Carpet/Seats - Shop Vac and Pet hair brush
Windows - APC 100:1 (doggy slobber) then S+W
Doors, door jambs, and all plastic inside - Wiped down with APC and a cloth towel in a bucket (do not know the dilution just put some in a bucket with water lol)
Front Dash - NL (did not dress other things because wasn't sure if the dog was going to lick the dressing we don't want to hurt him now do we)

Tell me if it is too many pics i just know that i love looking at pics it just tells the story better and gives it more of a background

And yes there is some hair here and there but i think it was frigging impossible to get rid of it all there was just so much of it :O

Geez! I'm speechless. I'm amazed you even took the job. I would RUN.

Dogs should be groomed and brushed daily in order to avoid escessive shedding like that.

Great job Pockets.

Is there any hair left on the dog? :D

:lol2: thats what i was :hmmm:

Thanks man, Yea i know i'm :crazy2: but it was satisfying that i can do it and make a lot of money for it. Now i know i can do other cars like that :rockon

For a second i though you were talking about someone from your title, but after seeing what you were up against it came out great Pockets!:bow

Unbelievable! I hope you aren't allergic to dog hair! LOL You could make another dog out of all that hair.

I hope the owner doesn't have another heart attack when she sees how great her car looks now! You did a spectacular job!

Kudos to you.

Pockets great work on the hair removal those are some tough jobs!

I have one of those rubber brushes for that reason...you did a great job!

im impressed with really all the more time u have wrapped up in that job, after looking at pics, i think thats a quick time , that looks liked a 8 hr job just for the inside alone

You are a true friend to this man to take the job ,and WOW what a turnaround ,you did a great job cleaning and washing waxing ,the result is very impressive.

I have done some pretty hairy interiors but I think that one takes the cake.

I would be interested to see how long it takes before the owner let's the car get that bad again. I can't imagine driving that thing around in that condition.:yikes:

Well done Pockets. :yourrock
