Very dirty mini van interior.

Great work on that one. Im sure the owner was shocked. Its amazing how a car can get that dirty. Your hard work truly paid off. BTW I like the picture documentation from the same angles as the before. Thats something I always forget to do haha.

Just thought about this, it must have been a pain without an extractor.

Its wasnt too bad alot more involved but not bad..... it gets the job done, but It doesnt look that good sticking a garden hose in a car.

any pictures after the vacuum before cleaning of carpets?

No pics of that stage, it just looked less messy and more dirty(if that makes any sense)

What kind of cleaner do you use on the panels and plastic parts?

I use Pro heavy duty cleaner at like 1 to 30 water. the heavy duty cleaner is good stuff!

what is this extractor i hear u guys using. is there a site that i can go read about them? what are they selling for and what do they do. those carpets really do look amazing.

:LOLOL I've been burned by gift certificates too!

Pretty amazing turnaround, from landfill to like it just rolled off the assembly line! :bow

Its basically a vac with onboard heated water. it sprays water ahead of the vac nozzle to help get stains/chemicals out. I have this one but will be replacing it soon with a bigger one (2 stage motor/ in line heater)

yeah it made me remeber I have one more out thats older!!! usually they get bought and used pretty quick.... oh well.

Damn that transformation was nice. I especially liked the before after of the areas where the mats were at. Very impressive. I hate gift certificates lol. Great when you get the money but damn that redemption stuff sucks.

If Im doing an interior I always make a point of doing the drivers seat first then passenger seat, followed by carpet / mats etc. If it's sunny out I'll usually remove the front seats and have them sit in the sun to dry, that way they're totally dry by the time the customer pics them up....Obviously by doing the drivers seat first it has the longest available time to dry.

Pretty carefull, you never really want to get below the fabric wet(unless its really bad and one of the main purposes of the detail)..... alot of times you will find old coffee stains brought back to life and made alot worse than when you started. your customers will understand though stuff has to get wet to get clean. seats dry pretty quick though, on a breasy day or with a fan. when im done with interior and move on to the exterior sometimes ill run the car with full heat on the floor and defrost. That drys the floors pretty good.

dont forget to turn on the A/C even with the Heat on.... It will dry in half the time
