Verizon Unlimited

I was just reading this. I long miss my unlimited plan. One article I recently read said BIG Red was trying to figure a way to shut down the last of the hold outs. Should be interesting to see the price.

Right now we have a 5 line plan with 18gig monthly with 14 gig bonus monthly gig for around $230. One line is for a jet pack, we had before they allowed tethering without charging extra, that is no longer used.

I have not read much as I`m all on VZ grandfathered plan - even though we pay through the nose.....they are still far superior IMO in coverage where I am at.

Anyhow, I read some blurbs on the wording on introductury. Any gotcha`s aside from the 22gb

from the little bit I read after 22gb they may prioritize light users depending on network traffic capacity

That`s basically what Verizon chat told me, It`s not an automatic throttle when you hit 22gb. Of course that can change if a lot of people start blowing through data.
I`ve been checking it out because I am in a unique situation. I have an 18gb plan with another 18gb bonus/month because I have FIOS. The data is shared across 5 lines but it is not enough mainly because my daughter`s college has crappy wifi so she goes through data like crazy. I haven`t moved to a bigger plan because I will lose the bonus data which means I would have to buy a huge plan for way more money. The unlimited plan looks to be about $10 more a month and if she uses too much I won`t get nicked $15 for each gb. Instead her speed just drops until the data resets.

Yeah I chatted with them late last night and as bad as I want unlimited data, I just couldnt justify the price increase over what we pay now
