Marty- Well, there are LOTS of variables, but you'll probably get at least a few years out of it. I think I've replaced mine twice, getting about 3-4 years each time. But it wouldn't hurt to have a spare on hand, as when it goes it can happen rather abruptly (not like a small problem that worsens over time) and then you're doing it all by hand until you get a replacement.
