topnotch said:I have one because I replaced my DeWalt that died with it. I was short on money at that time putting myself through school. Anyway I have had it 2.5 years and has been about 200 details without a glitch. It is a bit heavy but you get used to it. The downside is the rpm dont match the dial they go by 500rpm intervals rather than 1000 ie 1=500 rpm
wannafbody said:they carry it at Autozone for about $55-no shipping
topnotch said:As I said I got it as a replacement thinking it would die and the thing is going strong after all this time. I got it for $45 at Pep Boys cause they had it priced wrong. I get lucky here and there.

My local Auto Zone has them for $54!
evo77 said:Great. Anything you DON'T like about it? I know the dial vs RPM settings are kind of off.

Hitachi linky
velobard said:I'll also point out the Hitachi is now listed at $179 at this link.
I've been considering a cheap rotary for personal use. I just take care of my own cars and don't plan on letting them get in need of serious paint correction too often, but it would be nice to have something a little stronger than my PC. This Vector might be just the ticket.
evo77 said:Definitely. I mean for $54 locally its a deal. The Vector appears to be doing a great job at DOING its job. :bigups
I'll be buying one this week and will post my opinion and results of the unit in a few weeks.
