I haven't done much in way of posting pictures lately mainly because I haven't taken many pictures. I find myself taking a lot of BEFORE pics but never get around to taking and AFTER pics



So here are some cars myself and Ron and myself have done.





Porsche Turbo pipes polished out.

Dirty wheels cleaned up with TOL's Wheel Wash and a lot of scrubbing.....this was a filthy job!

Ron sprayed the tires with the new Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel and I think Zaino or DG on the wheels.

Paint was in average condition, light marring and tar. Ron also worked out a ding in the front right fender.



We used Menzerna 106FF and the Cyclo with orange pads to polish and OptiSeal to seal.

Next up is an E55. Pretty much the same process as the Turbo but we had to clay the entire car as it was a hail car with a re-painted hood and roof. Had a lot of tar also on all the lower panels.



The Menzerna 106FF worked nicely with the Cyclo and orange pads BUT I did notice some fine micro marring left behind. Ron notes that it cuts quickly but has no staying power.

Next was a Guards Red Boxster S.



This one had some heavy marring from washing so Ron tackled the paint with a rotary, white LC pad and Optimum Polish. Cyclo with Menzerna 106FF was used after that but here is where I noticed the micro marring so in that sense I did not care for it.



The 106 had very little dusting as long as you kept using it. If you stopped for a few then started again the pads would dust really bad.



We finished this one out a bit different. After the Cyclo step Ron applied some OptiSeal and then about 30 minutes later he applied some paste wax using the same OptiSeal sponge....this caused the sponge to almost hover over the paint and gave us a very deep, glossy finish.

Here are some odd pictures of a White 1995 Porsche that I did a quick detail on for the Porsche center. I used a Cyclo with orange pads and Hyper and then PoliSeal, nothing to spectacular so not many pictures.

Rear deck lid area....I clean these areas last after doing the engine as you don't want gunk falling on your head as you clean the engine.

I got a chance to use Lake Country's new wash pads. Great pads with well thought out design. They rinse clean much like the natural deep sea sponges I use.

The red is super soft while the yellow is nice for bugs and wheels.

Wow what process you use to the engine? just Hi-Tech Degreaser?

My process is to first make sure all wires and caps are down tight. I then wet the surrounding areas, paint, glass etc. so any over-spray from the degreaser will not sit on paint directly.



After spraying the engine bay with degreaser I allow it to soak for several minutes (works best on a warm, not hot, engine) and then re-spray and agitate with some soft brushes. Rinse with my pressure washer and then do the underside of the rear lid itself.



After drying I'll clean up some areas using my steam vapor cleaner and then dress the area. I may also re-adjust some hose clamps and such to give it a more even appearance.

Man wonderful work there. That engine turnaround is truly impressive... very very nice.



I mostly just use a spray-on cleaner like ONR for the engine. I'll have to check out that hi-temp stuff.

Anthony do you use Optimum Degreaser?

I do use the Optimum de-greaser but for really rank stuff I like the power of the Hi-Temp de-greaser. I feel better using the Optimum de-greaser as an all around APC type cleaner though as it can be diluted down so well it can be used on leather if needed.
