I applied the Klasse AIO and 1 layer of the SG on my car a little over a month ago. It's not beading quite as nicely now (I work in an area with a lot of industrial fallout). Should I start all over with the AIO or should I layer on 2 more coats of SG? Did I wait too long between the SG applications?

Tough call. If there is a lot of contamination in the paint then AIO would be the best bet. Makes no sense to use SG and simply trap in the debris or substandard surface.



It would be worth considering a light, quick application of clay as well since you have a lot of fallout. Then just AIO over it and follow with SG.



The trick to layering with SG is that you need to keep a perfectly clean surface between layers. The fallout in your area makes this difficult.

Reapply AIO and try two coats of SG. Just let your car sit out in the sun a couple of hours before applying the second coat of SG or even a day. This helps the SG cure. Make sure the car is cool before reapplying SG. The reason it may not be beading is you did not get perfectly even coats. Two coats of SG should help ensure this. If you want you can also apply a coat of carnauba wax over the top for extra shine and protection or use the new Sonus Acrylic quick detail spray(uses the same Acrylic as in Klasse) every few days to keep the fallout off of the car. You can apply as many coats of SG as you want, but some say 5 is enough. If you have a dark car, multiple coats of SG really helps.

No black Scuderia, it is Pozzi Blue a really dark solid color. Yes the Bentley grill is a pita to do and I charge more for those cars just for that reason.

That is some of the most spectacular work on some of the hottest rides I've seen. I LOVE they way the tires look on all of your details look. I just have to know what you use to dress them. That's the look that I am after.
