Its in Boca, right by I95

Cool. I have a contract with them and have a ton of cars that I will hopefully have the chance to work on, I'll let you know next time I'm going to be down!

Yeh I almost moved my office into that building the pics were at but they were friggen expensive and an NNN lease so I suck screw it lol. My old office was at Mizner Park, detailers heaven, my garage was full of Lambo's, Astons, Bentley's etc. Man my suv felt inferior lol.

Very nice car, too bad I dont like the look of zaino at all, slap some victoria wax or souveran on there and then let's talk.

Heck, on a car that expensive, it probably even deserves an Estate Glaze!

I do not doubt your skill, but how you can take such an expensive car, or for that matter, ANY black car and use zaino is beyond me.

IMO for black, carnauba is a MUST.

Looks Fantastic! For a sedan that car is a beast, the sealant really sets it off. I really love what CS adds to black and plastic trim. I wonder what it'd be like applied to the plastic/painted parts in the engine compartment? I may try it.

Heh, Ron, you love your old-school carnuaba! Which is fine, however, your logic is poor. I guess it would follow then that I should use only turtle wax products on autos < $15K, Mothers on autos < $30K, Zaino on autos < $50K, etc. and Zymol on $100k+? Uhh....yeah. :wow:

TH0001, Great work!:2thumbs:

I don't know why you go into a hard working dedicated detailer's click and brag that has worked his butt off on an excellent vehicle and has shown us his tremendous skill and excellent product usage and now you go ahead and insult his product usage and so forth.

I have seen you go into other threads also and repeat the very same thing. Maybe your a paste and copy zaino hate guy.

It is very disrespectful to go into a mans click and brag and insult his product usage or discredit him cause he did not use a carnuba.

I have seen tons of Todd's work and I would rate him a very high skilled detailer that knows his stuff. His work is flawless in my eyes and I will back him 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not at all, the lowest end I would ever go would be meguiars. I have used zymol on nissans, mercedes, whatever it is, however I do think that extremely expensive cars deserve better treatment then the cheap ones.

But if someone wants to pay me to give their cheap car the same I would an expensive car that's fine with me, when I detail a car, be it cheap or expensive, I try to make it the best I possibly can, and to me, carnaubas look MUCH better.

I have done testing, I have done half a car with each, I am not speaking with nothing to back my opinion up.

So id you had used zymol on it and I said it looked deep and wet, I would be perfectly right, because it would. To me, zaino looks like plastic, and is pure protection without any added looks.

If you take a black car and prep the whole thing the same way and use victoria wax or souveran or zymol on one side and zaino on the other and not tell me which is which I can tell you absolutely which side is which.

Wow, you just said that expensive cars deserve better treatement then less expensive cars!!! You really believe this?!?! I treat all cars the same (and don't feel any deserves special privelage) but I guess thats why I have the caliber cars I do and do the wide range of cars I do.

If you like carnuaba's thats fine, good for you. A lot of quality detailers use carnuaba's on exotics, but I think there logic is probably a little different then yours. You attitude of thinking only expensive cars are worthy of something is the exact reason I am booked for two months in advance with exotic, rare, and show cars and you are bragging about detailing a Nissan.

I use Zaino on my client's cars because I love the look (as do they) and I love knowing thier exotic car will looks its best for 5-6 months, at least. That is the service I offer and stand behind, that it the way I push my bussiness (which has been successful to this point).

I will even agree that on a half and half of Zymol vs Zaino I can tell a slight difference (being that at least 90 percent of the final gloss and appearance is in the prep). I know I'll be standing next to Zaino side, but I agree that many enjoy the look of the oils in a 'nuba. Lets compare cars again in 2 weeks, maybe some 'nuba lovers are holding out, 4 weeks, even you would agree I hope that Zaino will look the same while the 'nuba's you mentioned will loose some luster. Okay 3 months later, lets compare again. Do you think it will even be close at this point?

So according to your logic, expensive cars are more deserving of less durable products? Those are your words, right?

I merely stated that for me, carnauba is a must on a black car, I did not insult you, in fact I even said that I do not doubt your skills and you tell me my opinion is worthless.

You are very sophistocated aren't you? You really handle situations like an adult.....

You think I talented, thanks. Thats why we have these click and brag sections, so we can share are work and hopefully get positive responses from our peers.

The Click and Brag section is supposed be about supporting eachother and stroking our egos. Comming on here and blasting somebody or the products they use in the Click and Brag is childish and lacking in class.

And isn't class a prerequisite for sophistication? So don't call the kettle black if your just a lonley pot.

What?! Thats inherently contradictory. Think....Then write, and for you, Read again...Peer review....Correct.....Post.

Ron, seriously, take another look at the pics. If that car was souveran'd or Zymol'd, you think it would look much different in the pics. It looks stunning, wet, deep, and incredibly reflective.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion. However, there is a time and a place to share an opinion and if you wanted to debate me, then you would could have always PMed me. You don't go on a click and brag to start an argueement about different products.

PS state Carnauba is a must on many of the other sections in this forums and many people will agree with you. The problem with a lot of people today is thier parents never taught them that there is a time and place to share their opinions.

Todd, really nice work and obvious attention to prep and details. Not an easy task with a Black vehicle and points towards your excellent detailing skills. I completely understand why you and the owner would like to preserve that "look" for more than a couple of washes or a few weeks without losing anything in terms of appearance. :bow
