uuuuhhhhh Pollen Season

Pollen is definitely a huge pain in the ass here in Florida. Actually about to give my car a good detail right now cause of it.

I would take pollen over snow anyday of the week....

You don't plow "pollen" :)

yep. here we go again. most people don't realize how abrasive that stuff really is to paint. cleaned up my truck yesterday.

Yep...it must be tough down there in Flori...DA with that pollen and all that SUN and hot air. Then again you don't have SALT and endless days of freakin freezing cold weather. I can't even go to the coin-op pressure wash and get home without splatter all over! As I piss 'n moan, I should point out that today is unreal like 65F and may even reach 70F! As a matter of fact, the snowfall this year has been very slight for which I take partial credit....since I bought a snow roof rake in the fall (not yet used) AND dropped a bundle on Nokian snow tires for my wife's car. I only fired up the snow blower like twice and both times it could have gone either way. Like Leo said, climate change is real.

Back to the pollen....this too shall pass. Just accept what is and complain (to vent) until it's done!

Even Silver can't hide pollen and water spots from sprinklers ...

after Spray and Wipe .. a little later ;)

> 70F today....long time 'til we have to deal with pollen, though. I saw a big snow pile doing a major meltdown this morning...

Here in Tampa it's absolutely pouring pollen. How do you folks who have to detail outside (in Florida) do it. I've seen close-ups of pollen particles, all sharp edges and pointy "spikes", and I don't see how you could rub polish/LSP into the paint without causing a boatload of minute scratches. Am I wrong? In the past I just waited until it was over, but I really need to do some detailing on my car and don't want to wait a month or so to do it. Would love to know how you guys are dealing with the yellow storm.

The pine trees are dropping the yellow poison like crazy here in South GA. I'm hoping for rain this weekend to wash the air.

pollen big time here. cleaned a couple of bird bombs with pinnacle ww and wow is it a dust/pollen magnet in the specific clean up spots.

Been in the 70s here in NJ the last two days.....we had a pretty mild winter and probably gonna get an early spring....which means pollen for me too....hate the stuff.....

Arizona is not left out of this problem either. Luckily the vehicles are light colored so it doesn't show as bad.

Quality products have been working for me. I expected to induce a lot more swirls recently, especially on the Spark Metallic Black portions on my bike since I wipe it down everyday. But Ultima Detail Spray Plus has been working awesome. And I'm sure the layers of Viking Coat and Rapidwaxx help too.
