Using IG and Rain-X

I was wondering if it ok to use IG then spray on the rain-x onto the windows? I wanting to one last cleaning before winter hits central illinois.

That is usually how I do it. I wash and use Invisible Glass. The then dry the windows with a MF towel. I then come back and apply Rain-X to complete. I usually do this whenever I feel it is needed, basically when the Rain-x stops rushing water off my windshield.

Although Rain-X works, any car I have ever applied it to immediately had an issue with chattering windshield wipers that will not go away until the product is completely removed.

I like Castrol Accuvision better than Rain-X, just my .02. Its much easier to apply for me and you don't have to use IG first; improves efficiency if you're running a business
