Has anyone tried this?

This has been discussed in the past

and

the general concensus is that since claying is sooooooo simple and easy a PC is not needed

plus

by hand you can FEEL the clay do it's work

by PC you will see that something is going wrong when it's too late

No,

I would not reccommend it

Claying is best performed in a NON circular/vibrating manner. As others have stated, a claying session is best done when one can do so by hand and feel the clay working. If done with a PC or other machine one cannot know if the clay is working and this could lead to overkill and doing more harm than good.

Griot's has a similar PC attachment that you stick the clay into. It just sounds scary. High RPM's with a piece of synthetic clay moving dirt around. Yikes!:scared
