Used sports car?

Consider an Audi TT? I really like them, plus AWD in alaska, can't hurt. Another one is a Supra. I know it screams "ricer," but I have seen some really tastefully done ones that look awesome. I just love the contours of that car, but that's just me.
 
How about a brand new mazdaspeed MX5? They can be had for less than 20g. I think that its a bargain and you'll really have fun with the turbo. Of course im a lil biased because i drive one but it really is a great car. Go to mazda-speed.com forum to get more info about it.
 
I, too, would be looking at C5 Corvettes. Beautiful, powerful, and handles well. There aren't many other vehicles with 350 hp and 32+ mpg (6-speed).
 
What I'd do:



Buy a '99 Miata for around $7-8k. Upgrade the shocks, springs, wider tires and wheels, get a Flyin Miata Frame Rail Kit, and a Bell Turbocharger. All of that will run about $8,000.



Now, for $15,000 you have a car that can pull over 1 G on the skidpad, and has a 4 second range 0-60 time. A supercar in sheeps clothing. Oh, and it would be completely street friendly.

I got pretty disappointed in my search for a car last week. The worst was when I went to one dealership to check out a Z4. The salesman was doing his usual "This is a great car, fast, handles great..." All I had to do was look in the window and see that it was an automatic to make up my mind. Then he says they just got a Vette in, but its an automatic. Automatics are driving me nuts right now. Every possible car that I've found has been an automatic. I don't understand how so many sports cars leave the factories with automatics.



I think I'm just going to put an end to all the frustration with a nice bike and enjoy the rest of the summer season. June and July are usually the last of the really nice sunny hot weather. If we're lucky August will be nice and September is about time to be putting the toys away.

Right now I think I'm more interested in handling over all out power but I'd still like to be pushed into the back of the seat when I hit the gas.. the S2000 I drove was great for that. Does anyone know how the RX-8 compares to the S2000 acceleration-wise?

2000-2002 audi s4.



v6 bi turbo. you can find some stage 3 and stage 3 + kits putting out 450 bhp or more. There are several in my area up for sale.



for handling and brute power you can't beat it.



I'd also say a 1.8t audi tt. there is not much you can do with the v6 version. but the 1.8t can accept Big tubo kits. right now there are a couple that are putting down 320 whp which would give them about 400 bhp

And thats exactly what I did. I went and picked up a Kawasaki Ninja 650R last week and have been having a blast so far and haven't even taken it past 6000 rpm yet. I'll get some pictures up here soon.



Forget cars.. haha. Buying the bike was the easiest thing I have ever done. Everybody at the dealership was nice and made sure I had everything I needed, talked about the MSF course that I have already taken, and were overall very friendly. Complete opposite from my car dealership experiences.
