Used Porsche or New M3?

I was totally with you until you got into real estate. That Ponzi scheme is coming to a quick and ugly conclusion, and anyone buying in the next few years is doing so at extreme risk exposure.

care to explain a bit more ?

Or are you just suggesting that people are offering the idea of real estate as a false way of turning around money in a short period of time b/c of the recent r.e boom when in fact prices may drop, and those buying into property now may not see returns for 10+years?

Life is way too short, and before you know it you'll be in your fortys with whites showing up...that is if you survive the system, yeah what they call democracy, ask the IRS man...The more you make the more you pay......

Go PPPPPPOOOOORRRRRSSSSCCCHHHHHEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Porsche, Porsche, Porsche....After over 20 years with them, I can tell you THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE.......... :sosad

Why not buy a used M3, and use the extra money to buy something better parts wise for it. Also you won't loose on the depriciation value as much as if you are going to be buying it new.

I just saw in my Motor Trend Porsche is making a new Cayman, non S. It's probably not as fast as a new M3; but it's a notch above BMW as far as class, style and brand goes IMO.

I think I read it's around $50k so I guess it's priced around a new M3. :nixweiss

Do you need the addtional seating offered by the M-3? I have had several BMW products and have found them to be trouble prone. Meaning visits to the dealer. I have 2004 911 purchase new, which has stood up much better than the BMW.

A Porsche resale vaule is much better then that of any BMW. The newer Porsches can be daly driver and track cars that is how good they are.

Good luck either way.
