Used "Nitro Seal" Today

Scoot to 1:35 on video and look at windsheild, machine pad application on glass...something extra done? or did he do that to the whole vehicle?

I looked at the videos again and it is very faint marks, I just did not get the "Confusing" part of the video as what I got from the video was the ease of use and not a specific "How to" step by step aspect. I guess you probably meant in the video he applies the product by hand yet there are machine application evidence marks such as you describe on the glass which could send a mixed message.

On the two cars I have done I did not apply the product to the glass but I will next time.

yup, those are them. they're probably the best foam applicators i've used. love the fact they don't have the melted thing around the middle.

Sounds interesting, I may have to pick some of these up. Are the colors both equal in feel?

they feel the same to me. ben said they're the same foam just diffrent colors.

Thanks! Did you decide what 3D products you're getting, and is Nitro Seal going to be on that list?

have a pretty good idea of what i want to try. no nitro seal is not on the list. already have some.

not sure how the rewards thing works yet. i don't think anybody has posed the question yet, at least not openly.

I figure we'll be finding that out after the November 30 deadline has passed. Hopefully it isn't something we have to place an order for right away, since a lot of us can't have chemicals shipped over the winter (too much risk of damage due to freezing).

ya, kinda what i figured. but thought i would throw it out there just to confirm.

Durability update as promised, my Nissan Sentra beater had "Nitro Seal" applied the first week of October and I have not washed or wiped down the car on purpose to see how it would fare, have been through three rain storms and I finally washed it and the car looks like I just detailed it almost..............so there you go I will be picking up some more.

Bob thanks for the update!!!! Very glad to see it holding up. On my motorcycle I applied it, and ggave it a harsh wash to strip it and see what it would take. I used dawn and yellow degreaser from 3D in a mix and let it dwell in foam at 300 degrees. . Just like day one as well. Nice stuff for sure. Have you noticed any lack in gloss or what not? My black bike is still holding that shine!

I used this for the first time on a client's collection of Porshes. I applied them in the garage which was not insulated and relatively 40° or so. I left the product on two of the cars for a full day, the third car for just 30 minutes or so. Either way, it was PITA to buff off. Was the temperature cause for this? I ended up spritzing the cars with some QD to help.

I've only applied NS in warmer temps. 40 is pretty cold for most sealants, let alone one that has some pretty intense cross linking happening. I'd ask Ben or Tunch for their input.

Tried NS on my baby and it turned out fantastic!!!

After the cure time, the dust attraction was very less compared to many premium carnaubas that I've used!

And that coupled with depth and near insane gloss levels is just amazing! :D

A few pics(only did the hood and front bumper)

Sorry for the blurry 1st one! :o
