Used "Nitro Seal" Today

As the title states I used Nitro Seal today on my "Beater Nissan Sentra" , the car is a 05 and is silver and I take pretty good care of it even though it is a commute car for my wife until she gets a new car(turned in the HHR SS on the lease).

Ben sent me four bottles of the product to try as I "Won" best correction of the week a while back, so less anyone says I am stumping because I recieved "Free product". As someone who rails against embellishment with the quickness I can honestly say if the product provides good to great durability than I am very impressed with Nitro Seal as it does go on and come off very easy and the gloss is incredible...........as it is a Silver finish and it takes a great LSP in conjunction with a finished down surface to accomplish that feat.

The car sits out daily so I will see how the protection is over the next month or so, at first the part A is pretty oily, but it allowed me to put on a very thin coat of part A, then I put a thin coat of part B per Barry and Dave's suggestion and waited 45 minutes and the product was dry so I wiped it off and came off quickly and at first the finish was kinda of slick but three hours after it was very slick as it passed the microfiber towel sliding off the hood test.

If the protection is there I will be getting more.

I just tried it Saturday on my black GTI, looked so good the wife insisted I do our daughter's blue Mazda 3 on Sunday. Kinda tired today but very proud of what I accomplished.

Im using it today on a white dodge ram outside 24/7 two blocks from the ocean...I clayed it last year...looks like I didnt clay it in two years right now!

wash, clay, polish, clean, NITRO SEAL!

I've heard some good things about it, so I am hoping its what I need for those everyday cars that demand better protection!

Beading pics from this morning, good thing it had 24 hours since I did it as it rained..................

I ordered NS and Uno for my cars. I will most definitely take pics before and after on both.

two cars I'll be working on are:

2005 Lotus Elise - Magnetic Blue - still in very good shape ~33k miles

2004 BMW Z4 - Hellrot Red. - DD...this will be the challenge. ~73k miles

The fellow w/ the Jetta sold me on the Nitro Seal. I hope my results are as impressive.

I had recently bought some; which i just got in yesterday, going to try it out on a buddys pickup.

I hope to see more actual product for the price. The pamphlet that it came in said the Nitro Seal is only enough to cover 2-3 cars. I would rather still go with Opti Seal unless there is a change to Nitro Seal Coverage.

Wow interesting product. I put some of it on my windshield- It was one the easiest sealants to be buffed off with!

Im waiting for the best garaged car to try it out on...:bigups

Simple question to those who have used it so far

Would it be best to put part A on whole vehicle first ?

Or do sections at a time using both Part A & B?: hood, fender, etc

this video seemed confusing, at the end i saw buffing pad marks on rear windsheild- seemed like he did something extra????

Ferrari Scaglietti 612 HD Nitro Seal Application - YouTube

I did not see "buffing pad marks" , I did see Tunch go from shorts to pants though and I saw a luxury high rise with some nice euro iron parked in abundance.

The product(As I have done two cars with it now) is so simple to use, I am waiting to see how it holds up under harsh conditions.

Scoot to 1:35 on video and look at windsheild, machine pad application on glass...something extra done? or did he do that to the whole vehicle?

To save time, he did some of the application with a DA.

I did my car and my daughter's car - both by hand. I'm doing the PC route next time, my hands are at that age where the old knuckles hurt after a little work. Getting old ain't easy!
