Used My Metabo For the First Time Awesome!

It was amazing!

I have had it in a box sitting in my tool chest for about three months.

I was afraid of it. Just settled on using my PC or UDM.

Well I finally ran into a job that just wouldn't budge. I could not get the swirls and scratches out of this hood. No matter what I tried on the PC.

So I finally broke out the Metabo.

I wish I had used this thing a LOOOOOONG time ago. Maybe it's because I used a PC for a while, but I did not find using the rotary terrifying or difficult.

I did watch every video and read every thread I could prior to using it though.

I had slight hop here and there, but I kept it on the lowest setting and it performed so well I couldn't really believe it.

Anyway just wanted to let those know out there who are scared off by the rotary--don't be! It's an amazing machine.

And the fact that I can feel my hands after is a HUGE plus!

Haha, I like the revelation at the end...brings me back to my PC days!

I use a FLEX for now, but I REALLY want to bring a rotary into the mix for time reasons. Luckily I got into the Meg's Advanced class at the end of the month to start rotary training so I will be taking the plunge once the class is done and buying a rotary! Woohoo

Be careful cause I'm having a hard time going back to the Flex after my Makita 9227C purchase. It saves so much time compounding with a rotary but if you're lazy you really cannot mess up polishing/finishing with the Flex. It's really foolproof.
