Use Lexol and Pinnacle

I'm thinking about using Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner before using the Pinnacle cleaner/conditioner (all in one bottle).

Recommended?

Why not try the pinnacle first and see if that clean the seats to your needs? or just try using the lexol and see if that fits your needs? Im not sure why you would need to have two cleaner/conditioners on your seats.

Even for an Autopian that sounds like overkill...if one was a cleaner & the other was a conditioner that would make sense, but not 2 all in one products.

I really liked the Pinnacle, BTW. It left my seats feeling very supple and smells great...I normally use the 4* cleaner followed by the conditioner and I got several compliments after the Pinnacle.

If you want the very best in leather care give Spinneybeck a try. It can be found at leatherz.com. Its really the ultimate for the BMW nappa leather. ( l think Lexol even says on their web site not to use it on the nappa leather )

So you like the Pinnacle All in One better than the 4* duo? Saves money then cool.

I personally love the pinnacle LC/C. The smell I dont care for, but every customer car I have used it on they say it smells "new" again.

I still like the 4* better...sorry for not being clear. I just think that a separate cleaner & conditioner do more, but the Pinnacle is the best all in one leather product I have personally used.

All I had really used before was Gold Class & Zymol...the Zymol is pretty good. With Gold Class my butt slid all over the place for a few days - to be fair though I'm sure I could have done a better job applying & removing it too.

I don't care for one steps as much as duos either. But I would use leatherique or the Zaino combo before any other duo. I can't keep the bottle though, everytime I use it on a customers car they buy it off me.

I'm sorta shocked I don't see more mention of this product on this site. :nixweiss

I don't think there is a Lexol Cleaner/Conditioner, so I assume you mean the two steps. What do you want to accomplish with those steps? I'd say if you like the smell/surface left by the Pinnacle, why not use the Lexol cleaner and then use the Pinnacle all-in-one as the conditioner?

But if you want to use all three, go for it. :)

I think it depends on the condition of your leather. Pinnacle's LC/C is a great all in one product for leather that is in good condtion. If you're leather need some deep cleaning though, you'll have to use a true cleaner. Maybe it needs the woolite treatment like Bill mentioned.

btw: asianrage, r u one of the mods on the TL board ?

I've forgotten about this thread.

I've stopped using the Lexol stuff a while a go and just used the Pinnacle Cleaner/Conditioner . Why? Because I generally keep it clean and needs only to keep it well conditioned. Going with Lexol required alot fo time to work for only minimal gains. The only thing I have to worry about is the carpeting

I like the smell of Pinnacle. It reeks of "cleanliness". My fiance likes it as well. However it is running out and I'm currently considering getting Zaino leather stuff as a replacement.

BTW, I frequent a-tl all the time :D I recognize you :wavey

I'm not a mod though. Wanna nominate me? :bounce
