UPP over PB Black Hole

I was not pleased with the CK VM/EX combo. It seemed that the longevity of EX was compromised.

It still runs contrary to past experience placing a glaze under a sealant.

I think the UPP will remove the BH, because UPP contains mineral spirits, Or some type of solvent because I could smell it. Don't take to many whiff's :crazy2:

best advise? Ask over on the Poorboy's forum or PM Steve yourself to verify how well BH glaze will work with other mfg sealants.

Mostly, a glaze will work with mild waxes, but as the solvents increase, you're going to remove whatever is on the finish as you apply the sealant as most contain solvents to do a mild cleaning of the finish so when it evaporates when setting up, it helps the actual sealant to bond better.

You would need a very lightly solvent-based sealant to make this work.

Try doing this with Meg #7 (which is a PITA to work with if you do not know that already) then put their sealant on top. Turns into a mess when removing the sealant. Now I'm speaking of 1st or 2nd gen Megs sealant, so I cannot say for current product the now have.

As always, use some other test medium to try it out. Old fender, hood, wifes car? :D
