UPP Over #80 Speed Glaze ???

Dave N

My PC goes to 7...
I'm putting my truck up for sale in a few days, and I want to give it a quick detail so it looks good. I don't think I'm going to do my usual 3-day spring detail process for an unknown buyer, so I'm mainly interested in filling in the winter wash mars and making it look good.

I was going to go with #80, NXT, then top with S100, but a woman at work has expressed a strong interest in buying my truck. I've been reading a few posts lately about the lack of NXT longevity and thought I'd use UPP in stead to make the shine last a bit longer if she buys it.

Has anyone used UPP over #80 Speed Glaze? Will it bond well? I'm not too interested in doing a wash after the #80 to get rid of the oils because I don't have time and I'm looking to fill in the wash mars, not spend all day buffing them out.

Any comments welcome...

I have done it, it looks fantastic. It lasts at least two months, that is as long as I could wait. I have tested the combo on other's cars, but cannot comment on the durability as I do not know how they treated the cars in between.

Thanks for the response. I'm going to be doing this today. I was mainly worried about the UPP bonding over the #80.
