I am not sure why only Pic# 1 & 4 looks normal. The others look off. I will take pictures in the morning if the weather is nice - I already reduced the size on my camera.

groebuck - thanks. Keskin New Racers. toyo tires

hirosh - I'll take smaller pictures so photobucket.com doesn't have to shrink it.

ZaneO - thanks!

Have you asked your front tires how they fell about luggin around those monster meats in the back?

You do know your car is FWD, right?

 Wow, looks awesome. Where exactly can I get some of that QEW stuff?

FYI: Your rear tires are a little skinny for those rims. You need a wider tire, look and the sidewall stretching to make it. How wide are your rims and what size tires are you using?

For comparisions sake here's what my 275/60's look like on a 15x8 wheel.

Holy sht dude you're going to run the tire right off the bead on the rears. I'm surprised the shop let you drive off like that.

In addition, it looks silly.

You mean extending the wheel past the fender, he is talking about making the tire slightly plus sized to match the wheel better.

about the combo, how much did it darken?

Tires can't communicate.

Do you mean to tell me that my Jetta is not rear wheel drive? Where did you get that from? BMW, Mercedes are rear wheel drive, why wouldn't VW be RWD?

Is this a detailiing thread or a "slam someones personal choices" thread?

The paint looks really good. keep it up!

I never slammed him or said anything bad about him, i thought his paint looked awesome. I was just stating that the rear tire does not look like it fits, possibly dangerously too small.

I too am suprised you fit a 255 on an 11 inch rim:eek: and that you fit an 11 inch rim on the jetta without modifying. Looking at it now it looks like the angled side wall give you just enough clearence from rubbing the fender. If you put a 285 or bigger tire on there it may rub.

I personally do not like the look but I'm sure there are plenty of people that think the "big and lil" look on my grand national was out in the 60's....to each his own.

Keep up the good work, and be careful hitting those corners at high speeds :scared

PS: i'm far from an expert on anything imported but i was unaware a RWD jetta existed either:nixweiss

Jetta's are FWD, I think you were kidding though, hard to tell on the net.

lol, in the third pic, doesent that guy seem really really small?

So many wheel and tire experts on here
