Unwanted hyperlinks!?!?!?!

Is anyone else experiencing hyperlinks being added to your posts and in other peoples' posts?? It seems like words are being chosen at random and being turned into a "search" link

It's driving me nuts:confused:

Everything looks fine on my PC. Can you list some examples where you are seeing the problems?

Don, I'd be very surprised if two websites are having the same issue. Could something be wrong with your browser?

It was every message board I was on...I talked to the wife, (she went to Arizona for a funeral last Wednesday) apparently she does an Ad/Spyware check daily. The husband is always the last to know ;)

She had me run a scan from her name and I came up with over 430 'alerts' for Ad/Spyware. She told me how to get started, but said she would take over the clean out when she gets home tonight. It seems like I did something beause I don't seem to be gettng the mystery links...popups on the other hand...

If you have Windows XP, the Anti-Spyware program that Microsoft is beta testing is fantastic. Go to the Windows update page and search on Anti-Spyware.

Once you have removed the spyware you should install spywareblaster. This will stop your PC from getting reinfected, just remember to keep it updated.

Cheers, Len.

The wife and I have and agreement, she don't try to detail my car :bigscream and I don't try to "fix" the computer :wait . Tha "bandaid" fix she walked me through last night will have to hold until she gets home ;)
