I seriously cannot tell you guys how much your concern touches me. Seriously, thank you so much!

Everything went well but was not easy. Apparently, from my understanding (I am on painkillers) I mispoke last night. It wasn't a bolt (I thought I had four, apparently I have two) but the wire. When they went in today they remove the wire and part of my chin moved (it should have been fused) so they had to do the whole procedure again. I am sure I am not being 100% accurate in my description, but the surgery when far longer then they thought.

Side effects so far is that my bottom lip is swollen and I have a big bandage over my head. They went in through my mouth so my chin and bottom lip are numb and can remain numb for up to 3 months. This means you guys will have to point out if I have drool at SEMA.

All things considered I feel good and would smile but my bottom lip is too big!

Thank you so much guys, you seriously are humbling.

Tu amigo

Todd.

Good to know you are already assembled. :) . Hope the healing runs on eight cylinders for you mi amigo.
Nothing crunchy until better...
Get well soon!!!!!! :yourrock

Dang Todd. So the wire broke. 3 months is a long time. Last time I went and had denial work my mouth was numb all day I hated the feeling. Not sure I could handle 3 months

Glad everything went well Todd.

This means you guys will have to point out if I have drool at SEMA.

No worries we will be sure to have plenty of micro fiber towels on hand for your drool :D

I have to wear a chin strap to hold the fixed parts in place for a 1 week! I am debating posting pictures, I take a good ribbing. I also feel sorry for anybody who has to see me in the next week as I won't be able to wash my hair for that long (GROSS)!

You may have your own dedicated booth at SEMA then lol

Man loose screws. Loose wires. Bandages and straps holding things together. All you need is duct tape and you'd be like an old Italian car.

Best wishes and speedy recovery!
