I like to think I am a nice guy and that I, for the most part, willingly share with others and info I might have that may help them out because others have done the same for me.

Because of my "sharing" on other forums I was invited to a new forum, dedicated to covertible car owners, and decided to post a thread on how to properly wash, clean and protect a rag top and also proper care of the plastic windows on many rag tops.

There is only like 43 registered members to this forum and the last post and reply was weeks old so this gave me the incentive to try and get something going. In my thread I mentioned the great results I have had with the Ragg Topp system, as so many here have. Two days later I recieved an email from a person who worked in some fashion for the forum supporter which is "Renovo" and they acknowledge my thread and asked me if I have ever tried THEIR rag top cleaner and protectant and if not where I might go to purchase them. I figured that was cool, no problem I might try it but then I decided to visit the web site a few days after that and found that not only had I been deleted as a member but that even my thread was deleted!! :angry

Also my repeated emails to the forum moderator, asking what the deal is, have gone unanswered:nixweiss

All this from a DEAD forum. You would think they would be begging folks to post there at www.convertiblecar.com in hopes of generating more interest.

Lastly let it be known that if I do recieve some sort of response and apology I will post that here OR it may be that I am in total error here and will also willingly acknowledge that and offer a full apology but until that time I will no longer visit nor post to the site and warn all other Autopians not to register and post there BUT if you do becareful of what products you mention.

Thank you all for allowing me to vent:sosad

Anthony-I've seen the same crap in other forums. One is sponsered by Platinum or one of it's distributers (a Delphi board) and it seems like all the posts about favorite waxes center around Platinum. Dead forum anyway.
