Uncle, uncle, uncle!!!!

Come by the chat room to see this car kick my ass on Tuesday evening at 7-8pm est. I'll still be compounding and using the new MF compounding pad and D/A compound (D300.) Its possible that a few of the other beta testers will be there to narrate.

Have at it Bry! Open up a big ole can of whoopa** and do your magic.

Is that an M5 or just in the wheels?

Check out the front bumper cover, either its an M5 or a really good clone. Either way, it's a wreck. Can't wait to see this one!

Thanks everyone for your support!

Bryan, you need to do this one with a LIVE WEBCAM.

GEWB

That is the plan, maybe some compounding with the new MF pad and D300.

Thanks Mike. Good catch on the front bumper. Looks like an 01 E60. It also looks like Bryan opened up that 55 gal. drum of whoopa**! It's coming out NICE!!!

That 50/50 shot of MFCP/D300 looks impressive to me.Bryan were you using your festool with the 6 inch pads?

Thanks guys!

Paul, Sorry I did not answer you before, it is an M5.

GP, I was using a GG polisher with the 6" MF pad. I have my G110v2 setup with a 4" MF pad.

I'll be visiting, got my first BMW coming this spring, this could prove helpful. HOw's the overall paint quality on that sucker? Looking good so far BTW.

Damn, sorry I missed this one. Looks like it was quite an event, and as usual Bryan, you knocked it out of the park.

Hope you where able to learn a few things from the video chat. Jet black BMW=quality? Polish it to perfection and put it in a plastic bubble and then you will have everlasting quality. :banghead: JB is one of the biggest PITA paints to deal with. Acts like its very soft as the drop of the feather will marr it to hell. It still needs some semi aggressive to get out the deeper RIDS, then it is a PITA to finish out. This MF compounding pad and D300 helps a lot.

Please feel free to post any questions you have.

Thanks Barry and sorry you could not make it.

I'm still swinging for the fence today and hope to finish up sometime late tomorrow.

Last night during the chat, I ran the compounding step at speed 6. Today I decided to try speed 4.5. Slow arm motion and good pressure. It is still cutting out the defects and appears to be finishing better with the slower speeds.

Here are a few from today, sorry not the exact same spot on the panel.
