Ultimate Supra Thread x 3..... 3,165 RWHP !!!

And last but definately not least is the 1035RWHP off the bottle 96 Supra.



This one is totally street legal and a great sleeper..... till it pulls up next to you and you realize it's not the radio that is thumping and shaking your windows, it's the 4" exhaust making itself known.....



This one and the other black one are basically the same except for the rims and trani. This one is still a 6 speed, no parachute, no role cage (yet) and a slightly smaller turbo. Both are SS paint btw.



My process was the same as well, Menz SIP with white pad at 1700 then jeweled at 1100. Then Menz Micro with black pad at 1200 and jeweled at 900 to finish off.



After a full wash and decontamination with clay we dried it and pulled it in to inspect the paint.



We found the typical swirls, not in bad shape though for an 11 year old car....

This is after one pass with SIP and white pad jeweled down as well. I jewel all my passes whether it be with a harsh cutting wool pad or fine black finishing pad, it just seems to make the next step better off and easier to refine.

Jason polished the HRE's with Adams two step metal polish system, they turned out incredible.

While I polished paint Jason knocked out this engine bay. He wiped it all down then polished all the chrome with Blue Magic, then finished off with Zaino ZAIO then Qtiped the rest.

Cars look great! I was wondering were any of those supras a single stage? I detailed a black one last summer and it def. was. It was a 94 though. Not sure if they finally put CC on the newer black ones.

Definately nothing can touch them especially if they can get traction.



The owner told me hte 1035RWHP one would burn down the 1/4 mile track with slick on spinning all the way through at over 150mph at the finish..... that's insane.:soscared:

The one alone was not 3000+, it was all three combined that made up the 3165HP at the tires. The first one was only 1300HP.

Yup, the black ones were SS paint, I think they were 96 and 97 models.

I agree, it sounded like an Automatic as well as I did not see the big tale on it and the white one we did the big factory tale.

Yes, the two black supras are SS paint. I believe they are 96 and 97 models.



The white one is clear coated though.

a Power Glide is just a 2 speed auto and yes some people like them for drag racing



the switch thet engages the trans is called a "trans brake"

and can be installed in any popular trans that is built to handle it
 
is that a T88 in the first black Supra? I have always wanted a car with that much "stupid" power. Great work on the details

Ahh I thought about it during class, and realized that they were two different things.

Thanks, it really is a relief to have Jason's help, he's an excellent detailer and does great work and I don't have to worry about training him or watching over his shoulder. :bigups

Yes, it's an 88, that's all I remember and I think the other one is a 67 or 72..... can't remember but it's not quite as large as the first one.
