Ultimate Hose Nozzle

Sears is the same nozzle, but I bought the Target one and it is not. The rubber on the Target one is hard and the nozzle only shuts off in one direction.

and I love it. I've also purchased the one from Target (chrome finish with black hard plastic around the head of the nozzle) for about $8 and that doesn't even compare.

Same hose, different nozzle, VERY different results. I wouldn't trade my Griot's nozzle for anything except of course, a NEW Griot's nozzle! :up

I have to admit, the price of that nozzle is not for the faint of heart, but once you try it out, great googily moogily, it just sends shivers up your spine!

It truly is a pleasure using that Griot's nozzle! And it never EVER gets loaned out to friends or even family! :lol

Odd you feel that way as a client of mine tossed his Griots nozzle tome and said..."Here, you want this piece of #$!8& crap?"

So I took it and I have used it but the Home Depot nozle is more user friendly and not as heavy nor bulky. So the Griots nozzle stays at home and the Home Depot nozzle comes with me everyday for work.

My wife watered the lawn the other day but I noticed the Griots off the hose so I asked her about it and she said she had a difficult time with it so she removed it and put the old trigger sprayer back on. So while I didn't pay for it, an $80 nozzle is just sitting on the porch!

PS - This is a thread resurrected... eh? :lol

I'll gladly take it from your porch!

:chuckle:

I picked up a similar Ultimate Hose Nozzle at Harbor Freight on sale for $7 ($50%) off. I opened the package and was impressed with the weight, construction, and how nice the rubber was. I was all excited and hooked it up and am very disappointed. I guess that I don't have enough water pressure or something. It barely puts out enough water.

I have a similar Ultimate nozzle that I got at Walmart that blows this thing away. I only paid $5.00 for that one.

Oh well...looks can be deceiving...

Pats....yeah you did need a god amount of water pressure. It does work great when the pressure is there.....but you could also have a defective nozzle??
