Ultimate Compound

Well i finally had a chance to try out UC today Via PC. The paint i was working on was one of the most thrashed paints i have ever seen in person. I was doing it for free, and didnt want to do a 3-4 step jobbie on it, just 2. So my plan was to use UC and a white pad, followed by ZPC and a white pad.

I dont know how paint ends up looking like this, but it looked like he ran the sides and even the top of the vehicle down along tree branches lol.

Anyways, the vehicle had been clayed 2 weeks ago, so i washed with ONR, which is blowing my mind as well, and went over most the vehicle once with a white pad and UC.

I was very suprised to actually be watching the marring vanishing before my eyes with each pass of the PC and the shine popping through when i would wipe off the residue.

I wish i could have used an orange pad, but i couldnt risk the ZPC not removing the marring left behind. Still, in the direct light the paint looked like a 30K mi. car that had been washed by hand-poorly, most places, instead of a 130k mi. car that had driven through the jungle lol.

I kept the PC on 6 for about an hour and a half, dust was less then some of the botique polishes i have used in the past, and it removed pretty well for a compound, nothing a spritz of QD couldnt handle.

I think i may have found my more aggressive go-to product.

Im interested to try scratchX 2.0 with the PC. Anyone know if it has more cut than ZPC?

How did you find the consistency of UC when you used it. I tried it today for a spot correction on an area that had some scratches. I used it via PC with a 4 inch white pad. I noticed it to be very watery and not thick. Is that how yours was??

Mine was very watery as well. By the time I pour some on the pad and set the bottle down half the product has run off the pad and onto the floor.
