Ultima Paint Guard Plus...

I really like the stuff, just wish I could do the three coats in one day rather than 3days.

Super easy to apply

3 coats gives max gloss

Very nice durability

Its the only sealant that I use. Takes 10 min. to do the entire car and walk away (wowa).

How do you prevent streaking? Did I use too much product? The most that I sprayed on the applicator was once or twice. The car is white and at first I could not see if there was any product but later I saw streaking - but only in isolated spots.

Hey, thanks for the feedback...

But does it live up to its hype about being the "best" sealant out there as far as looks?

Streaking usually means you over applied. Go over it with the QD or wash it and that should knock it down and level it out.

It does look pretty darn good, especially after you get two or three coats on. Is it the best looks wise? That's something you're going to have to judge for yourself.

LOL, fair enough...

But in your opinion, and everyone elses... :D

Does it look better than Klasse or Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant?

LOL..you'll get mixed answers man because its subjective to the individual. Your best bet would be to acquire all three and find out for yourself.

Yeah, that's why most us us have shelves or boxes full of products :chuckle:.

As mentioned above a lot of this is very subjective and depends on personal taste, the prep work done to the car, the color, etc, etc.. The prep work (polishing) is what you want done right, after that any LSP is gonna look good. Don't do the prep work and a sealant can amplify the defects (marring, swirls, etc.).

LSPs are a very subjective topic, in my opinion.

Just like Gemini and Eliot Ness pointed out, give it a try and report your findings.

I think you're way beyond "shelves and/or boxes", John. :lol

LOL, exactly!

Well, the fact that no one is singing its high praises like they do other products on here tells me all I need to know.

Thanks as always!

:D

Huh? UPGP is very highly regarded here. I'd go as far as saying it's in the top two or three favorite sealants.

Got this product along with a kit. I have to say it took me a couple three times to figure out how to use it proper. I think I peeved the support folks with my calls but it was worth it. Now I can slap on a fresh one in a matter of minutes and not break a sweat. At my age that counts. The paint is slicker than snot on a glass door nob and looks wet.

It is very highly regarded around here by many..... some of us just don't get all excited and "hype" stuff up. I like it well enough that I bought a second sampler kit.

Yeah, my wife knows that too :o

I think I'm way ahead of you, Gemini. Haha. I've been at this for about four months, and I have already taken over the garage. Just ask my girlfriend, or John (Eliot Ness) who's seen my garage. I've already built up a pretty nice "collection". Ten waxes alone in four months...Lunacy I tell you! :woot:

Ditto and I've only been into this for about a year and a half. LOL :D

HA!

Finally got ya to give an opinion, LOL :thx

So what are the "other" one or two? :nervous2:

BTW, if any of you have an overage of Pinnacle Souveran, I would be more than willing to help you get rid of it.... :2thumbs:
