So are you over at cliosport aswell?



I also have the same problem, i haven't got a paypal account. are they easy to set up?
 
WD Pro had to make a little excursion to cliosport lol!

I have been lurking on here for about a year! Your thread made me sign up and post!

Yes guys I'm still going ahead with the order, and I haven't sent PMs because I've decided to arrange that differently (sorry, my bad!).

Just after some tips really,



I have black clearcoat and was planning on:



wash,

clay,

various ssr's,

VM,

I have been using EX followed by Natty's but will the EX look and work ok before the Souveran or would I be best getting something like WG before the Souveran.



Does this sound ok and what would you guys change?

I think when I use it first I'm going to go totally overboard:



SSR2.5, SSR1, AIO, VM, EX, Souveran - should so the trick



If I'm feeling really silly I might solt RMG inbetween the VM and EX:D

Hope AndyC will back me up on this, before Souveran (not that he has tried his yet) Wolfgang.



I did Carlack 68 x2, VM x 2, WG x 2 then onto the Souveran

So the EX should work fine before the Souveran.



Would AIO come before the VM or the other way round? I've never used AIO.



Would I get better results with WG instead of the EX?

I tried ex, ex-p and Wg on mine preffered the WG just over the ex. All 3 looked good WG had the edge.



I used the Carlack 1st for its cleaning and then the VM for its wet look. Most people do one or the other.
 
My preference on black (albeit on a single stage black like my 205) would be what Rich suggested for sure. Use the SSR route to achieve a smooth & swirl free finish, 2 x Carlack 68 (the second coat is the killer - trust me!) and then Wolfgang.



I got to 4 coats of WG and TBH think that's the point of diminishing returns starting as I noticed little difference between layer 3 to layer 4.



Not yet tried Souveran but that's about to change too!



Mind you, my car's absolutely filthy now - see my other thread. That's what uprated suspension does for the autopian mindset!

That little excursion included an evening trip to a friendâ€â„¢s house and signing up just so I could post :) (I donâ€â„¢t have net access from home).



Thanks for the BD wishes, I got the best birthday present to date â€â€œ Ferry, camping fees and Le Mans tickets !



On another note has any one used souveran over #80, #81 or NXT ? Which looked best ? Any bonding issues with the oils in #80 or #81 ?

AndyC_1 and Richt, how much did you guys paid for your Carlack 68?? I thought i remembered reading it was about £19 but i've just been www.svsp.co.uk and its coming out to about £19 without p&p. I was just wondering.
