Uhhhh...Vanilla Moose variation???

I just got another bottle of Vanilla Moose from a member of another forum, and noticed it is quite different than my other bottle on the left! I am used to the brown/tan color with a sweet and pleasant scent. The bottle on the right is creme/white colored with a chemical/gas smell almost like Carnauba Moose. They are even in different bottles! Are they both the same product as far as results go? I am quite confused!

I got VM in both kinds of bottles and each was new formula. Thought it strange but no problems.
 
Pics are rather good for a camera phone.



I *JUST* received my VM bottle yesterday and it was similar to the one you just received. Clearkote did change the formula as notated above.
 
I think the flask style bottle was a short term supply issue by Clearkote. My original bottle of VM came in a cylinder and was the darker color (over a year ago). The flask bottles came along before and after the formula change.



The new formula seems to be a bit thinner, but it doesn't clump up over time like the old formula. The oils that gave off the vanilla scent had to be removed because they caused the bottles to degrade. I do miss the smell, but I like the newer formula better. Performance and results are still the same.
