Thanks Everyone and if i tend to get moody a few times a year it's usually around the time we have testing (blood, ct-scans, mri) ..these are stressfull times around here and only a few people know that it is going on...thanks for putting up with me during those times;)

Steve, thats the least we can do. Congrats on the good news. My heartfelt prayers go out to your family and daughter. I could not imagine having to go through that with my kids.

Steve I'm glad to hear the great news . Having a parent thats a cancer survivor I have an idea what the days before and day of testing is like and the relief felt when those wonderful words "no cancer found" are heard . I pray that you will continually hear those words .
God bless you all

That's Great Steve!..The words Pediatric and Oncology should never go together.

Blake you are so right...if anyone ever feels that they got a bum deal with life or that the job or school is too hard...go visit a Children's Oncology floor at your local hospital. When I walked in with a child that was just there for a check up, it was so hard to look at the faces of the children and the parent of these children. Seeing them can make you realize how good life is no matterwhat troubles you have. Most of the children are bald from their chemo treatments and the parent look distraut and tired. What was sad for me is that there were all new faces from the last time I had been there. It usually means that either the children we knew did not survive or they totally recovered....the latter has a very much lower possibility. :( The nurses and doctors were very happy to see Lana as well as me...I guess I didn't look so good the last time I was there after my heart attack:rolleyes:
Thanks to all for your replies and please say a little :pray for all the children out there who have the unfortunate fate of dealing with such terrible diseases:hippi

Thanks Don and you are so right:)

Sorry to learn of your loss...we unfortunately met too many parents and knew too many children that didn't make it:( we are definitely very lucky to have her.

Steve,

I'm so glad to hear all is well. I'm sure you and the misses are VERY happy. Please continue to keep us posted.
