Pinnacle Natural Brilliance DVD- Step-by-step instruction from detailing expert Mike Phillips with special guest Matt Steele. The Pinnacle Natural Brilliance How-To DVD has been updated with the latest techniques. Spend less time learning and more time creating the brilliant natural shine!

Porter Cable 7424 XP- Detailing expert Mike Phillips walks you through the essential steps to maintaining a smooth, glossy finish with this machine. The techniques you learn are transferable to many other 6 inch dual action polishers.

When I first started detailing I had hoped that video's that featured this quality (with this quality of an instructor) were available.

Be sure to check out What's New page often as we continue to add new products to the Autopia-CarCare store such as the new Flex-Foam HD Rotary Blacking Plates in 3 inch and 6 inch sizes.

These DVD's come in a hard case with attractive, high-quality packaging. It's what inside that counts of course: Each DVD was filmed at the Palm Beach Motoring Studio in HD, with Mike's famous knack for instruction. He breaks down the process and covers the details that will have you polishing in no time.

I attended a Mike Phillip's Meguiar's course in 2007 in Tampa and learned so much about the art of detailing from Mike that I attended another course he taught at Autogeek's Detail Fest several years later. You cannot go wrong with the information and explanations crammed into these videos.

you're never to old to learn something new. mike is a great guy and not only an excellent technician, he's a great teacher. todd falls into this category too. for those of us who can't make the classes, this is an excellent way to learn. i'll be picking up my dvds today.

Is the PCXP video the same content as what's on the older "Principles of Machine Polishing" DVD? Or is it a newer production?

I would be interested to see excerpts of these videos as I have the "Principles of Machine Polishing" DVD already and would like know if these are worth getting.

I would be more interested in video or series about using a rotary polisher.

I agree, instead of rehashing basically the same stuff I'd like to see an expansion of the "Mike Phillips Training Series" to include other things like rotary work, wetsanding/dampsanding, interior work, etc.

In a way I totally understand this DVD since the production quality Yancy is able to achieve with the new studio and equipment has improved exponentially over the older video, and Mike has gotten better in front of the camera as well.

Always nice to have this kind of stuff on hand to see how other people do things, and pick up random tips.

I also have the older DVD's so wonder what new information is provided and also like to see the series expanded especially on general maintenance topics.

I saw video by Adam P. (Adam's) where he went through the entire process of washing a car at a self-serve car wash more or less real time. I am not sure I agree with some of his techniques but he goes through the challenges of bringing your own water, using the spray wand (have that credit card handy), rinsing, drying, etc.

I also think Nick's (aka as someone else we know) photo essay on using the Nomad low pressure sprayer and Blackfire rinseless would be another good video subject.
