You really need to do something about those floormats. :D

Beautiful automobile!
Has your overall ownership gone as you expected?

Floormats to protect the actual ones as it was being cleaned and some of us have dirty shoes. Notice the covers on the seats as well. Can't be too careful now.. Tape was protecting the new lit sills.

Ownership has been just one big grin, that's until I had to get new tires. The PS/2's were way too much for one tire ($550.00) and I went to Bridgestone RE050A's which were also impossible to find anywhere including Tire Rack. They were always on backorder. BUT... ordered from dealer and guess where they came from? Yep, Tire Rack. PCNA has some agreement with both parties. Anyway, great tires, a whole lot less $$.

So far, no issues, just great driving fun!

Garage pics from shop which is large to house numerous cars in different aspects of detailing/cleaning etc.

I advise anyone with a dream get one of these cars! You'll never have so much fun. :bigups

HOW COW....

How are you doing Deanski.....

Long time NO see.:yourrock

Yep:whaasup:, been a LONG time... Very busy and driving whenever I can.

In fact, the car looks bad finish wise as I just have no time and too tired at times.

What have you been doing? Let me guess.. Wax on wax off?:rockon

I would have bet on that.

I did wonder about that.
Obviously if you can afford to buy one, you can most likely afford to maintain it. Based on some friends experiences with high end European vehicles, (Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes), I wondered how many issues might come up.

I was pretty sure it was a shop and a nice one, but I wasn't sure.

WoW! That is my dream ride, would love to own one someday. I owned a 1965 912 (no comparison by any means) when I was younger and I loved that car, i really hated getting rid of it.

What year is that?

Thanks! :thanks

I've yet to use Natty red as I still have original Nattys. Sure a whole lot cheaper than Souveran and you get the same results.

Never really layered waxes.. well wait, that's wrong, I did and find it really made no big difference to me, but does go on easy. Nattys is inexpensive and gets great results. Hell, I've used all types of esoteric waxes and it's so small of a gain in depth I just can't see spending all kinds of $$ for wax and oils.

What most people forget the biggest and most important thing is how well the finish is polished. The better the gloss from polishing, the better the look.

When I spend the time polishing I make sure that the finish has the highest gloss as possible.
