Any close-ups of the blonde in the pink sweater?

Looks like a good time for all. Excellent work, the Mustang looked great in the after shots. :)

Fabulous! Excellent tutorial you put on! Very well done.

LOL, Scott!

How does the HTEC/OPT work with the PC? I thought the HTEC was a little much for the PC and you should stick with HT Heavy Cut?

Hope you get a lot of business from this.

Knowledge is power, Greg!! Am glad that you are spreading the word. Looked like a nice turn out. With everyone helping and learning I am sure that you made quite an impression on the newby's.

Power point was a nice touch as well.

and as Spilchy said, I hope that you get a large response for your detail business.

The htec and opt combo worked great via pc. Zero issues.

Greg, Wow!

I enjoyed reading your post -especially the photo with the PP slide showing you holding class. Priceless. :goodjob

Get used to Ford paint, because something tells me that you'll be detailing quite a few Mustangs this Spring and Summer :chuckle:

It's too bad that you had to leave the Makita at home, but the PC looks like it did a pretty damn nice job on the paint.

I'm sure you had a blast. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I brought the rozilla, but didn't use it. :)

Hi guys it's me Rick, director of the SVTOATC and the guy that originally contacted Greg. It's something that we have been wanting to do for a while now and originally found Greg off of this site. I have detailed a few of our members cars, but knew a class coming from a "paid" pro would have more impact. You can check our site at SVTOATC Website

Greg did a fantastic job, from the effort he put in to the power point to ensuring that everyone got involved. The poor Mach had many scratches, and I at first had my doubts about Greg getting the majority out with the PC. The final result was awesome and I know the 25+ members in attendance will have better looking cars come some warmer weather.

To answer a few questions: We are a Ford powered club (any Ford brand, or anything with a Ford motor), sponsored by SVTOA (Special Vehicle Team Owners Association) and our local Ford dealership. We do many events throughout the year including drag days, car shows (5 - 6, including our own) on track events, BBQ's, Cruises (Canada, Black Hills, etc). We average about 80 members.

The "old lady" was Pam. Pam can probably kick your butt! :bolt She runs 3 - 4 marathons a year, runs 5+ miles every Saturday regardless of the weather (except this one - couldn't miss Greg!), raises Horses, has an 03 - 10th anniversary SVT Cobra with 450 hp, she 1/4 mile races and road tracks it! Oh ya, it's Black and she uses Pinnacle products on it.:woot:

Thanks again Greg!!!!:up

Here's a shot of my beast. 04 Cobra with 500+ hp and trq. Won a few trophies...

Elderly, sheesh...was that a Meg's burgundy cutting pad I saw? If so you'd better not let Mike Phillips see this thread!

Let him see it..

With the condition of the scratches, it was a must. I know he would have gone with #80 and polishing pad, but we wanted to remove the scratches lol.

Yeah...is there really anyone who has unrecoverably hazed their finish with the burgundy pad and PC? I know the Meg's company line is that you'll put your eye out if you do it, but at least on hard paint, it's not a problem.

There was very little to no haze with the burgundy probably due in part to the optimum mix with the HTEC. The tiniest bit of haze was EASILY cleaned up by FPII.
