Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating

You’re right. While it is decently durable like their Poly Wax the water behavior isn’t as good as others. If you want to try a spray on SiO2 sealant that works on panel, trim and glass... pulls minor water spots and boosts ceramic coatings... try a bottle of Nanolex SiSplash.

Water behavior has been as good as any basic sio2 sealant (reset, clutch cure) in beading and it’s better in my opinion. It’s top class in sheeting

Are you sure you actually tried it?

While I`ll likely not be trying any TW products as I`m favorable to some of the boutique brands sold here I still enjoy video reviews of other products. I tend to favor a handful of channels opinions as I feel like they`re giving an unbiased review. But then TW invited a bunch of the YT reviewers to their site and made a big event out of it. Now all these guys are making their various videos for the products and it makes me wonder if any of them are bold enough to say anything negative about the products. Besides nearly every product works fine in a quick review setting particularly with someone like Brian from Apex who is going to use the product correctly. I can`t say the same for some of those guys that were at the event and had already turned me off from them before that event.

Either way, still love Apex, Waxmode and Forensics channels but I`m more than likely skipping the TW content. It is interesting that they`re changing the Seal and Shine product which got them all the new found love in the first place. Even if it`s still the same performance wise that cheap price tag is gone now.

Really, what’s changing? Bottle? Price? I haven’t heard any news about SNS recently but you would think it’d be smart to leave “very good” alone after years of “ouch, my arm hurts.”

Looks like they left it good or maybe even improved, which makes you wonder, why bother with their hybrid stuff.

SNS isn`t the end all be all product.

Great short term chemical resistance but in real life many users (myself included) are not seeing durability any longer than any other protection product.

I`d only get a month or two if I didn`t top it up with ICE Spray Wax.

And I don`t care for the fact that you lose gloss on application because the carrier oils don`t buff off easily enough. Car is not it`s best until after a wash.

So can SNS be improved? Most definitely.

I can agree with the above. Beading also isn’t too good. But it is a solid product especially when price is factored in and I think it’s true that SNS (along with ICE Spray Wax which only some of us knew about) helped change the perception of the new TW in the eyes of real detailers. So I’m getting what gorram is saying as well.
