Turtle Wax 1-Step Wax & Dry for a quick, easy wax

uqw is awesome. ive used it on my gfs hyundai. its bright blue and the uqw makes the blue really shine even tho the car needs a good real waxing soon

Not surprised at that "better", but the OCW doesn't do a little concealing like UQW though, does it?

UQW is better at concealing, but they seem to be pretty close on minor swirling. I haven't tried UQW on heavy swirls.

Ah, thanks for the additional info. I'm studying if in case I ever use up all my current QDs (which sure won't happen soon!), might switch to a spray/quick wax for some stuff.

Yeah, either is good, looks are a bit different. I think OCW might be a bit over the top for you, its a pretty bold shine:

UQW reminds me of 476.

Dan- Eh, I can never see subtle diffs by looking at internet pics..what'd ya me by "too bold"/over the top shine? Like...uhm, FK425 or somesuch?

But I actually *have* some OCW (finally!), little sample bottle that came with some PowerClean. I actually think it's probably OK, but I've only tried it on the front bumpercover of the A8 (repainted a while back, almost cured, thought I'd add a spritz of OCW to the M05 I'm using on it).

I was interested in the concealing as the dark blue beater-Audi can't take more correction and, well...it's far from Autopian :o

(Funny...I sorta apologize for its condition when I post here, yet that's the car my Audi dealer called me about- "what wax do you use on it, customers keep asking why it looks so great!" and the concours nuts in my Jag club think it's incredible- "what do you mean it's a beater?!?")

IMO FK425 is pretty sterile. So its going to be much more glossy and wet looking. Its a pleasure to use, but the looks are subjective as always....

Dan- OK, I need to try OCWing an entire vehicle some time, or at least enough of one that I can really see if I like it.

Otherwise, I'm gonna keep the UQW in mind with regard to the concealing.
