Turtle Under The Deck???????

OK I'm working out of the house unstairs. I hear the door bell look down stair I can see its kids looking for my son I think and he's not home. Minutes later the same thing pay on attention again. The out the window I see kids and Moms all looking at the side fence of teh house. OK what's going on out there?


Apears that two of the kids of turtles the African kind and are racing them on my lawn. Wel kids being kids they gorw tired of this and take there eyes off the turtles and low and behold they disappear. Looks like they maybe under my deck where my cat hands out. Not that I think he will do anything to a turtle. Here I thought that working out of the house was going to boring, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
If you want to get the turtles out from under the deck, wipe the ground underneath it down with Turtle Wax ... They will slide right out of there.

I know bad!

interpreter pleae:lol Dave are you working upstairs or downstairs? and did the kids have turtles or did the turtles have kids:confused: ..certainly not boring:) ..i like the turtle wax suggestion:dunno
 
Well they have found one turtle but aonther is still under the deck that we know of. Its cool and moist under there so I'm guessing that he is still alive.

No, I was kiddingabout the pizza. I was making a reference to my childhood heroes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :). If you want to try and draw the turtle out, you may want to put a small bowl of water out. He has to drink sometime and a fresh bowl of water may be enticing. Other than that, I don't know what you could do with him.

I don't know what you can do to lure the turtle out. I know Bugs Bunny would dress up as a female Tazmanian Devil to lure Taz. Have you tried that yet? :lmfao

When we were about to bury our inground pool, a turtle took up residence. We ended up placing a plank into the pool and eventually he waddled on out and back to the pond. It was a snapping turlte, so I really wasn't interested in going after it myself. :)
 
I knew that all of you have been waondering about the last turtle. He/ she who knows how to tell:lmfao was found this last week under a bush about 4 houses away from where he started. Must have moved at night because its been fairly warm here.
 
Yea, We had a snapping turtle under our foundation one spring. I think it was laying eggs or coming out from hibernation. It was a big a$$ turtle.
