This product in specific, turtle ultra has killer looks, and its a joy to work with.

In an earlier thread, someone alluded to a test in which TWU didn't hold up BUT it also noted that up front it had the nicest look (vis a vis Z and the others tested).



I'm intrigued and on the basis of that thread, I'm thinking of trying some Ultra as a topper when the weather gets better. After all, Souveran is pushed for its looks even if its durability is only so so.

I don't think that would look bad at all. I wonder however how much of the base coat would remain given the cleaners in the turtle ultra. I don't think it would remove everything, but it is not a true layerable product. Well, only experimentation will give the answer

Has anyone used the 'Finish 2001' stuff ? Its made by TW and i have found it pretty decent for the price. I bought a bottle for $6 at Walmart. Its easy to use and beads quite well after a couple of coats.



I applied a second coat on my Sunfire in November and after all the salt here, it still beads after washing it on Saturday.

Finish 2001 is like nu-finish. Protects well, mediocre looks. The turtle ultra is 2 generations ahead, and the looks show it.

man...have not checked this thread in a day or 2 and so many people replied...i love the advice. thanks a lot.





well i got some extra money lying around now (saving $30 buying a pc at a shop other than canadian tire, getting the pc next week ). well im going to do the whole package deal on all the cars i have except for my moms red civic.



I am going to try out using turtle wax on half of her car and try using the 3 step deal on the other half to see the difference.



but i still have to wait till its a sunny day. =/
