Okay. Starting to get warm so I'm getting more into detailing mode.
Riddle me this. The wheels are powdercoated in a custom *black/grey* with flake to it. Topped with a semi matte clear powder ontop.
I was not careful during one of my Tuf Shine Sessions and just had some drips/runoff onto the wheel. It was immediately wiped off, and in the process, I *wiped* the tuff shine on a linear motion instead of dabbing. So the tuf shine kinda spread, along the outer rim of the wheel. It had some sort of darkening / I would call it a dark yellow/brownish effect on the powdercoated wheels. The wheels are Opti Coated and have had numerous washings since then.
Primarily with car soap, but 2-3X with ColourTec with no effect on this *color change*.
Whaddya guys suppose this cause/effect of color change is ?
