Tuf Buf Wool

Hey guys, anyone use this wool pad with m105 for correcting wetsanding marks?

I wetsand with 2k grit.. On body shop clear. Any input would be helpful!

And also, if you have used the Meguiars Maroon wool, please chiime in as to their differences.

Micro Surface black wool pads are really nice. They will definately work for your application and will last a long time. Very cost effective for a body shop too. Much less marring than a traditional wool pad.

david so you think that pad would finish down a bit better than my meguiars marooon wool?

And does this work well with m105?

Just want to avoid potentially over-marring the surface for my first step.

Thanks!

And this pad isn't the same as the tuf-buf?

The Micro Surface Black Wool pads David is talking about are called Tuf Buf pads so I think you guys are on the same pads. I am planning to get some one my Purple Foamed Wool pads wear out due to how well the finish down.

The TufBuf pads(black lambs wool) are really nice. Much different than a traditional long standed wool pad. The marring that this pads creates is very superficial and light compared to say a twisted wool, but it cuts like crazy. Especially 2000 sand scratches. They finish down very well, especially with M105, but depending on the end result you're after you'll need to do atleast 1 more step to finish. They make two different lenghts and I prefer the longer. Call Debbie @ Micro-Surface and tell here I sent you. Ask for some sandpaper samples too. Especially 4000 grit. Great stuff. Let me know if you need anything else.
