Tuesday's Quick Detail - '97 Acura 2.5 TL

Well, it had been too long and so I got out and washed the car Tuesday afternoon. That and a coat of #26. Tires are dressed with this really weird 1Z dressing, but I love the look of it.

They aren't the best pictures, but ya'll get the idea. I was just glad to get it cleaned up finally. I really need to go at it with the PC though and get some serious swirl removal done.

Almost forgot, I've wanted to get some 'action' shots of my car, working on getting a good feel for shooting and driving at the same time, this is the best I could come up with:

It's this 1Z stuff, you spray it on (wet or dry tire) and it foams up, and then disolves away. You can layer it too. Next time I wash my car I'll take some pictures, or even a video of it working. I like the look of it though, a nice dark satin black, no gloss to it. I hate glossy shiney dressings.

Ah yes, the soft wet glow of #26! Come springtime and better weather, I suspect #80 with the PC and #26 over it will look really good on that dark green paint of yours. :)

Hmm, I don't have any #80. I was thinking of getting the SSR line for my birthday and some more PoorBoys, but maybe I'll go for more Meg's.

I must say I have been happy with them, it was the first wax I used too, their Gold Class (no number on the tub) with an old t-shirt. On white. I remember being amazed at the minute bit of extra clarity that I got out of the reflection.
