"Jaison," my mother thought I was so special she put an 'i' in my name LOL. Anyway-yes, your reccomendation of the hydropads was spot-on. They really do a great job keeping the compound on the surface of the pad and not sucking it in. I loved them. They clean up so easily too once you soak them in pad cleaner for about an hour.

Just came across this thread via your post about going full time. Very nice job. So you did it in a parking garage?...did you have a water tank/generator set up or how did you work that out? Awesome work man!

Jaison can give you the details but I do know it was in a parking garage and he did have a generator. Not sure about water tank but I would think so. He worked longer and harder on it then I really expected. It would have taken days to get the paint back to 100% but in the time he had, I was pleased.

Thanks Rick!

Yes, 90 Gallon tank + 2500lb pressure washer with it's own gas powered unit + a seperate gas generator. Everything was done in the garage. Here's my rig:

Very cool rig my man. I wish i could see how you have the inside of the trailor set up :). I really hope to get a trailor set up for myself soon. How big is yours? Kinda hard to tell from the pic but looks like a 5x7.

So have you had a tank/generator/power washer from the get go, or did you add these things at a much later time?

For me I know i want to get a gas powered power washer, no question about that. I've THOUGHT about the water tank/generator set up, but honestly Ive never had a job where getting access to water/electricity was a problem I just usually tell the client up front all we need is a outlet and a water source and they've never complained. For you, has it been worth it to have all that set up....do you always need it?

holly crap! That 7 series turned out really well! So, how did you manage to get the hotel to allow you to detail a car their? Hotels are usually so strict i just don't see how you did it . . . . . . but i must say that was cool as all hell. Nice work and excellent photos!

He worked hard on the car! As for the hotel garage, I cleared it with the Manager before I accepted the reservation. The garage had almost and entire floor that was empty, which is where he did the work, so he had plenty of room and it was not an inconvienenve to the rest of the guests.
