trying to convert neighbor

I live in rainy WA, where nobody takes care of their cars! My neighbors all think I'm crazy, washing weekly and what-not. But who cares?? My car looks better than all of theirs(IMHO);)

But anyway, there is one neighbor who is totally hooked on "raindance" wax?!?! I think I've only seen that once ANYWHERE!!!

I'm trying to convert him to Zaino, but he's a hard sell. He has all black cars(and i would love to Z them), but he won't believe that polymers last longer and it's more reflective! Maybe I'll recommend him to read this forum! This place is of great help, and a place where I won't get laughed at or called "obsessive".:D

Raindance happens to be pretty darn good wax. I used that exclusively prior to Liquid Glass and now other sealants ie Zaino. It had a great shine and was in the ball park with many of the other high quality waxes. I don't remember the durability factor, but it is a liquid wax and was fairly easy to apply. Obviously though, sealants are the current champions of durability...

I have used rain dance a few times before I found better products. The shine was pretty good, but it didn't last very long at all. Similar shine/duribilty wise to meguiars gold class.

lemme tell ya....... raindance is similar in most aspects to the shine of gold class (liquid)....... its decent stuff but I feel its harder to work with even than GC.

Do the "half and half" trick, maybe just do the front fenders, hood, frontend, etc. and let him dance his rain along the rest of the car...... he shall see the light indeed. ;)

I think raindance and gold class give excellent shines but they don't last at all. I ahve a friend who insist on using glod class and I ahve to say his car looks great, he jsut has to wax very often and it can't be layered.

:p Thanks, guys.

My car's always garaged, so he never really sees it. I think I'll strut it over to his house right after a fresh layer of Z.

That should convince him!!!

:D
