Ok I have tried to figure this out but have failed.I am not that great with a computer most of my time is spent on the web and or here (my favorite place:) So could someone help a stupid freind out and tell me how to get some pics on the page of my Thread.They are not even great pics but all I have.Thanks:confused:
 
Use this formula but omit the *.

This is assuming that you have your pics on a server.



If you simply have a jpg file on your computer then use the IMG button above.
 
Hit the "post a reply button". When the "post reply" section opens up there is a series of grey buttons in the middle of the page under all the yellow smilies. There is an IMG button there.

[/b]</blockquote>The IMG button is on the screen where you edit your messages to the forum. Look just above the text-entry area, and you'll see an input box with the text "Use these controls to insert vBcode". Above that input box is a row of buttons (third from the left is the IMG button).

However, since you don't have image hosting, you'll probably want to use the "Attach file:" box to share your pictures. It's on the same screen as the buttons (the message editing screen), and it's below the text-entry area. There's an input box with a "Browse..." button beside it; just click on "Browse..." and select the image you want to post from your local directories. The image is sent from your hard drive to Autopia, and hosted on Autopia's server (<strong class='bbc'>you[/b] don't have to have any image hosting, just a gif/jpg on your hard drive). I think you can only attach one picture per post, but you can post multiple times to the same thread.

One thing, though . . . you mentioned you had some .bmps to post; you may want to compress them to .jpgs first. There's a 100k limit on file size for attachments, and .bmps get pretty big for even small resolutions.

Hey Todd try this: you need a IMG tag at the front and a /IMG tag at the back.

It looks like this: {IMG} YOUR URL{/img} except instead of the brackets that I used use the square bracket like this [ ]

Then you go to the web page with the photo that you want to display and click on the photo to display it alone. Now got to address runline at the top of that page (that's the one that says http:// XXXXX ) right click once on that to highlight the runline then choose the <strong class='bbc'>copy[/b] command from the drop down menu or from the Edit menu.

Now come back to your open post on this site and <strong class='bbc'>paste[/b] that runline between your two {IMG} {/IMG} tags. Just remember to use the square brackets like this [ ]

That's a very cool feature that you can post photos without having them hosted somewhere. My info, if you haven't already guessed, is for use with hosted photos.
 
How do you wash the bed of a truck? Might seem like an obvious question, but I'm really not sure. Also, when you rinse, how do you get all the water out of the bed? Leaf blower work?
 
I usually start by putting the back end of the truck on an angle so the water goes off the back end, then wash from the front of the bed to the back, if it's not lined, find all the weep holes in the sides and clear out any debris in there, so it will drain better, and clean it up.

I usually use a leaf blower to finish it all off and get as much of the water out and draining out.

i have an f350 pick . that i take great care of polishing wax ect. as far as the bed liner i rinse it out from time to time . and my driveways on a incline so the water just runs out. everynow and then if the bed gets real grungy. ill grab my wash brush and a bucket of soap and give it a quick clean. but i dont go to crazy....
